Inspiring and touching videos
I found that China's Got Talent has got quite a lot of inspiring and touching videos, which I really like and I'd never wanna forget. We can learn a lot from others, through what they have experienced, and what they've learnt.
高逸峰 showed us how to stand up after great failure in his life, and how he valued his love.

and 刘伟, an armless guy who can stand up stronger than an ordinary guy. He showed us how to be independent and aim for something high that most people would have given up if they were him.
and this guy..he may be just a poor guy but he is successful in terms of love.

For love and home
My bp house was sold not long ago. I have less than 2 months' time to move all the things out. All my memories are gone with the house, to a stranger. My dogs were given away to someone I don't even know. It's because I asked my neighbour to help find someone to adopt the dogs. The neighbour was the dog's initial owner before they forsake the dog for a branded dog.
Well, now the dog they gave us already has a puppy which is already more than 1 year old. So both will be given away. That's dog's life. Sad. Yet they always give their owner (whether good or bad) all the love they have.
No. I won't give up just like that.

Though I never really like the dog when our neighbour gave it to us, the bond between my dog got stronger whenever I went back home from kl. Now my neighbour told me I shouldn't go and visit my dogs at their new owner's house. That means I can't see them for last time as I'm in kl while my neighbour will bring the dogs to their friend.
My house which I called home and my dogs are equally important to me, and they were already there before my mom left us. Whenever I see my house and the dogs, I think of mom.
No. I won't give up just like that.

Imagine
I found a nice song initially written and sang by John Lennon. But the version by Glee Cast is nicer XD..
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us

Do what you love
Whenever I'm free, I'd make sure I spend some time reflecting whether I'm doing what I like, whether what I do has a purpose/meaning. I believe many people if not most, live their lives blindly. That includes myself. Some do what they don't like as they have no choice to choose. As a Malaysian, I think most of us have a choice.
The problem is, our decisions are always influenced by our peer and the media. Thus we'd find ourselves ended up doing something because we think we should. We become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, accountant, etc because of the influences. But, do we really love to live the rest of our lives being that?
I believe, when we don't feel like waking up early in the Monday morning or when we're having the so called Monday blue, we need to think again whether this is the life we want. If the job is something we like, would we feel so? We might, but not so much.
Taking up accountancy in the college is 1 of the worst decisions I've made in my life(hahahaha). I know I'm not that type of person who can bury himself in a pile of papers(boring papers). When I heard people saying "you have to force yourself to like it" or "we have no choice since we're already in this field", I know they're heading towards the wrong direction. Afterall, why force yourself doing something you don't like for the rest of your life?
We think having "discipline" is good and we should have that to make sure we do our best even when we're doing something blindly. Do you wanna be a gate guard? Does it make any sense to stand there whole day long when you can actually sit on a chair in front of the gate?
For now, I'm glad I know I'm not gonna continue doing something I don't like blindly. I believe I can do some other things I'd enjoy doing even though I'm holding an accountancy qualification. Everything happens for a reason, I hope this too has its own reason.

10 Amazing Lessons from Albert Einstein:
1.Follow Your Curiosity
“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
What piques your curiosity? I am curious as to what causes one person to succeed while another person fails; this is why I’ve spent years studying success. What are you most curious about? The pursuit of your curiosity is the secret to your success.
2.Perseverance is Priceless
“It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer.”
Through perseverance the turtle reached the ark. Are you willing to persevere until you get to your intended destination? They say the entire value of the postage stamp consist in its ability to stick to something until it gets there. Be like the postage stamp; finish the race that you’ve started!
3.Focus on the Present
“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
My father always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time. I like to say, you can do anything, but not everything. Learn to be present where you are; give your all to whatever you’re currently doing.
Focused energy is power, and it’s the difference between success and failure.
4.The Imagination is Powerful
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
Are you using your imagination daily? Einstein said the imagination is more important than knowledge! Your imagination pre-plays your future. Einstein went on to say, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.” Are you exercising your “imagination muscles” daily, don’t let something as powerful as your imagination lie dormant.
5.Make Mistakes
“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
Never be afraid of making a mistake. A mistake is not a failure. Mistakes can make you better, smarter and faster, if you utilize them properly. Discover the power of making mistakes. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, if you want to succeed, triple the amount of mistakes that you make.
6.Live in the Moment
“I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.”
The only way to properly address your future is to be as present as possible “in the present.”
You cannot “presently” change yesterday or tomorrow, so it’s of supreme importance that you dedicate all of your efforts to “right now.” It’s the only time that matters, it’s the only time there is.
7.Create Value
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."
Don’t waste your time trying to be successful, spend your time creating value. If you’re valuable, then you will attract success.
Discover the talents and gifts that you possess, learn how to offer those talents and gifts in a way that most benefits others.
Labor to be valuable and success will chase you down.
8.Don’t Expect Different Results
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
You can’t keep doing the same thing everyday and expect different results. In other words, you can’t keep doing the same workout routine and expect to look differently. In order for your life to change, you must change, to the degree that you change your actions and your thinking is to the degree that your life will change.
9.Knowledge Comes From Experience
“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.”
Knowledge comes from experience. You can discuss a task, but discussion will only give you a philosophical understanding of it; you must experience the task first hand to “know it.” What’s the lesson? Get experience! Don’t spend your time hiding behind speculative information, go out there and do it, and you will have gained priceless knowledge.
10.Learn the Rules and Then Play Better
“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
To put it all in simple terms, there are two things that you must do. The first thing you must do is to learn the rules of the game that you’re playing. It doesn’t sound exciting, but it’s vital. Secondly, you must commit to play the game better than anyone else. If you can do these two things, success will be yours!

What's the purpose of your life?
Most people study hard and work hard. True? Everyone is dying to complete their degree back in their Universities. After graduating they found that they are caught in a rat race. They just can't stop working 9-5 else they'll be in debt. Those who bought car, took loans, bought insurance, or any kinda thing that requires them to pay monthly installment would find themselves in big trouble if they stop working.
This may sound daunting but most people would gradually get used to this kind of lifestyle not knowing where they're heading. I personally feel whatever we do, we need to know the purpose and meaning. To me, "purpose" and "meaning" are both sacred words as without a purpose and meaningful life, what is life to u?
Confucius once said "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Agree? This is what I believe firmly. If u love drawing and naturally you'll be spending a lot of time drawing. But you'll not complain. You won't be depressed. But you will be deeply engrossed with what you're doing- drawing as an artist. If you're an author, you can spend all your time writing your novel/book. Because it's meaningful to you and you enjoy doing it.
Somehow, it's sad to see how many gloomy faces when I'm taking train to work every morning. And yes, I might be one of them except that I don't really feel gloomy as I have a purpose in my mind when I'm heading to work. I used to drag myself out of the bed when I was working in a company doing things I don't enjoy doing. I won't say what I'm doing now is my passion/interest but it's something I'd like to learn.
I believe, if everyone is pursuing their passion, what they love to do, then their life is worth living just as what Socrates said - "The greatest tragedy in life is to spend your whole life fishing only to discover it’s not fish that you were after". So what is the "fish" you're looking for?

Earth hour
Are you supporting earth hour now?! I've just realised that it's earth hour now. Yeah, I've already switched off the light while typing this post. It's so....difficult to type. Thank god the screen gives me a lil bit of light! I'm glad more people are aware of this and have shown their support to this act.

Happiness
When we were young, we study hard so that we could land a good job after graduating. After that most people work their ass off from 9 to 5 work to buy a new car and a house. Soon, they look forward to getting married and have children. Then they are dying for their children to grow up so that they don't have to worry about them anymore. When that time comes they hope to retire soon. All of a sudden, they realised they have not lived their lives.
More often than not, we spend too much time looking forward to achieving our goals that we forgot to live in the moment. Enjoy every little detail in life. Even when we're having a simple meal, be thankful that we get to enjoy the meal. Enjoy the ride in your car while you drive to work. Enjoy the rain. Happiness is a choice. We can choose to enjoy or curse everything. And when we enjoy every single thing we do in life, we'll feel happy and fulfilled.

Reflection
While I was at home 2 days ago in bp, I was thinking how life has changed. Back when I was young, I could always feel the atmosphere of cny. Sitting on the marble chair while enjoying the back-home feeling right outside my house, I almost certainly anticipated that this is going to be an awful cny. Mom is no longer with us and nobody's home, the house is becoming more and more like those abandoned dilapidated houses we can always see by the road side.
A kind of indescribable sad feeling overwhelmed me, as if I were my mother herself, reminiscing her life. I could imagine how her life was when she was young up until the day she left this world. How lovely the memories she had had when she was a teenager, a young adult, then marriage, and slowly grow old till her twilight years.
I could feel as if I were her at the age of 60, how lonely and how sad life has become. All her siblings are not staying in Malaysia, and there are so few people in our neighbourhood. All her old friends were not here anymore and she doesn't know how to drive. How lonely she was.
As the scenes were playing in my mind, the wind blew and the rustling sound of the tree leaves making it even lonelier. All these made me feel how a human life is like, especially when we're coming to an end of our life journey. I can always imagine, but I never knew how it feels when are old. I'm sure not everyone will feel lonely when they're old. What I could feel was afterall, through the eyes of my mother.
Back to the real point I wanna make. While anticipating that this new year is gonna be awful, I realised that I'd already decided in my mind how this cny will be. We never know what will happen next, what if I die next year? Will I still make this an awful cny? How many more cny will I ever get to experience throughout my life?
More often than not, we delay the enjoyment that we should have by thinking "nvm, we'll enjoy during better times". That day, I've decided I will not expect an unhappy new year. I've decided to enjoy this coming new year. I guess this reflects the quote "our mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master". When we think it will be a good year, we will do all sort of things to make it an enjoyable one, when we think it's gonna be lousy then it will be. This is true in every aspects of our life, be it family and friends, career or health.

It's new year, remember to live life
I have been getting quieter and quieter ever since I came to kl. Sometimes I wonder if it's because of sadness or is it because I'm just an introvert. I guess it's a little bit of both.
The most important person in my heart has left me for almost 1 and a half year. I miss her so much. I still remember what I told her when she was lying unconscious on the bed at the hospital. I told her I'd always wanted to tell her I love her so much but I've always felt it's embarrassing to tell her so. I hope she heard me. Tell our loved ones that we love them, don't wait until it's too late.
It's going to be the 2nd CNY without my mom. I can't change anything but to accept and go on. Most of us are very fortunate to be alive, breathing and decide how to live our lives. Many people out there are seriously ill, tortured, abused, and helpless. Appreciate being alive and stop complaining about life. Wake up each morning and be thankful that we get to live and experience another day as human being.

Tom & Tam
I'm starting to feel like drawing again. I used to spent lotsa time drawing and daydreaming during classes. Then punished. Tried drawing these stick figures as it's simple. Hope they bring some entertainment to the readers. Guess I won't be blogging too much of my personal life as I prefer privacy. So hopefully Tom and Tam compensate that for me lol.

Staged 9/11?
Mr M said 9/11 attack was staged. Is osama an actor too? No wonder he looks so familiar. O.o All I know is there's no single religion that preaches violence. If there is, then mah die lo. Life's like that.

Belated 1st post in 2010
You can't blame me. It's not that I don't wanna blog. The fortune teller told me to wait for 7x7 = 49 days before I can write anything on my blog for 2010. But I can't wait anymore, guess 3x7 = 21 will be enough.
Ah, I miss my dogs. I wonder how are they. Dead or alive. They were still fine the last time I saw them. 2 months ago. Good news is I can save money on Bahkwa(dried meat) for CNY.
Aww...so cute..
